Family History

Diamonds have been at the heart of the family story for centuries. Okker & Ockers longstanding heritage is built on tradition and exceptional craftsmanship.

A Family History

300 years experience

The Okker family has been in the diamond business for over 300 years, as far back as they can trace.

Many old records were lost over time, but the remaining ones show a rich history in the trade. For instance, In 1867, during the Exposition Universelle in Paris, Napoleon 3 awarded Marcus Okker a medal for his remarkable achievements in diamond polishing.

Traditionally, every father in the Okker family introduces his children to the diamond industry, passing on their knowledge and skills.

A Strong Network

Through centuries of experience and a deep-rooted history in Antwerp the diamond capital of the world, Okker & Ockers built a strong foundation of experts.

By implementing the unique skills of each specialist in every part of the process, they ensure enduring and handmade quality that is worthy of representing the family heritage.

A Family Promise

Okker & Ockers handcrafted pieces are meant to last more than a lifetime, making quality control central to their promise.

Each and every piece must undergo two rigorous checks - one by the family team and another by the brand’s team of specialists before it becomes part of your story.

The Old & the New

A New Generation

While older generations passed down valuable lessons, it’s now up to the new generation to carry forward the family tradition. In a rapidly evolving world, the two young brothers, Ilan and Robin Okker, decided to embrace a more contemporary approach.

A prime example is their exclusive use of lab-grown diamonds which enables Okker & Ockers to explore exciting new possibilities in design and craftsmanship.
